Not compatible

I bought myself a new charger for my IPhone 8 Plus recently because I somehow misplaced or left my other one somewhere else. So in order for me to charge my phone when I needed to, I went and bought myself another one. Only to find there was a couple of issues with the new one that I purchased. 1. I bought it from a gas station and not from a reliable retailer because I needed it right then and there. 2. It was cheaper which means somewhere down the line it’s most likely going to fail me, someway somehow. It worked flawlessly until about two months. Up until then everything with the charger was all good. It was much longer than the original cord, which meant I could actually lay in bed comfortably knowing I lay in the middle of the mattress with no worries. But then, this happened. One day I plugged it up to charge my phone and it wouldn’t work properly anymore. Then a little warning popped up. Accessory may not be supported alert. I shouldn’t have been surprised. I did after all buy it from a gas station. I believe same thing often happens to a lot of people who give their lives to Christ. They try to hang around the same people who they once did before, only to find out it’s not accessible like it was before. Christ has redeemed them from a life a sin. The more they go to Church and spend time in God’s presence, the new believer will begin to see something strange unfold. The same people who they use to call friends will begin to criticize them for not wanting indulge in the same things like they use to. They say oh” he or she is just being religious. They act like they’re too good for us now! They don’t realize God has the individual in His hands. We might try to hang out with them and if we don’t watch it, we can end up in a worse place if we persists to do so. Because of Jesus, our sins have been forgiven, the old man is dead, we’re a new creation. The Word of God confirms this to true, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 The Christian is not compatible to hang around those same people anymore. And we don’t have worry about being lonely. In Deuteronomy 31:6 the word of God tells us.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. The more we follow Christ the more we begin to realize we are no longer compatible with the world anymore. We are created to worship our Father God. Not just in our gatherings with other followers of Jesus but, we are to do so everyday we are blessed to live. We are to surrender all to Him who gave all for us when He gave up His only begotten Son who stretched His arms on a old rugged cross on our behalf. Drinking alcohol, having sex without marriage, and using foul language should no longer be a believers mindset. Even joining coworkers around the water cooler at the office can become odd. Especially if male coworkers conversing about which female employee they wouldn’t mind sleeping with comes to into play. Pleasing God should be our main goal in life. And the one way we can do that is to be obedient to His commandments. It’s okay if we no longer fit in this world like we once did, especially when God who is everlasting has now made His home inside of us.
